Dear Friends and Family of Light of Hearts Villa,
Hello and happy August! Things have been running smoothly here as we enjoy all that summer has to offer. The Phyllis Ann Barone Garden-Terrace (back patio) is being enjoyed every day by residents, our flowers are flourishing, and we continue to welcome new residents into our family.
New Website is Live!
If you haven’t checked it out yet, be sure to give our new website a glance! After months of working behind the scenes with HLJ Creative, it officially went live in July! Featuring a modern design, improved navigation, and enhanced functionalities, the site is designed to serve our entire community better – and feels more like us!
Chef Ray Dorman Retires after 33 Years
We are both saddened and delighted to announce the retirement of our beloved Chef Ray Dorman from Light of Hearts Villa after 33 years of dedicated service. Chef Ray has been a cornerstone of our community, bringing joy and comfort through his exceptional culinary talents. We are incredibly grateful for his years of hard work and commitment. Please join us in celebrating his remarkable career and wishing him a happy and fulfilling retirement. Thank you, Chef Ray, for everything!
Rare Bourbon Raffle + Light the Way Gala

Reminder – the Rare Bourbon Raffle tickets are selling fast so get try to get yours in this month! We are only selling 700 tickets! Please buy a ticket or two (or 10) and help us spread the word! Sister Regina Kusnir Chapel of Light: A Legacy of Faith and Compassion

December 17, 2024

Sister Regina Kusnir, SC, has lived a life of extraordinary charity and has been an integral part of Light of Hearts Villa. She helped coordinate the transition of Lumen Cordium High School into an assisted living facility in 1989. Since 2005, she has served as the director of pastoral and special ministries, where she helps address the spiritual life of residents.
