Senior Residential Facility in Bedford, Ohio

COMMUNITY Updates

February 8, 2024

Dear Friends and Family of Light of Hearts Villa,

Warm greetings amidst the rare warm February air! It felt like January was over in the blink of an eye. We’ve been diligently preparing for the upcoming year, brimming with anticipation for what 2024 holds in store. Along with the celebration of our 35th anniversary at this year’s gala, you can expect more facility upgrades as we aim to complete the renovations of our ground floor, an influx of new residents, an updated website coming soon, and an expanded array of programs catering to residents, staff, family members, and our wider community.

General Updates and Covid-19

In January 2024, we’ve had 4 residents and 4 staff members test positive for Covid-19. Masks are still mandatory while in the building at this time. We do urge visitors to refrain from attending if they exhibit any symptoms of illness or have been exposed to Covid-19, exercising caution when planning outings with residents.

Closing Thoughts

Next month, all 2023 donors can look forward to receiving the 2023 Impact Report, showcasing our financial transparency, fundraising achievements, heartwarming anecdotes from staff and residents, and much more. We’re eager for you to delve into the successes, challenges, and highlights of the past year.

Additionally, we’re immensely grateful for the consistent outpouring of appreciation and encouragement from many of you. We kindly encourage you to share your sentiments by completing our Testimonials Form, as your uplifting words aid us in reaching a wider audience and attracting new members to our cherished community.

Lastly, mark your calendars for the upcoming Light the Way Gala on Friday, September 27, 2024, to be held at the Event Space at St. Josaphat Cathedral in Parma. This year’s gala promises to be our grandest yet as we commemorate our 35th anniversary! Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support, prayers, and words of kindness. Together, we are truly blessed.

With profound appreciation,
