Anne is a dedicated professional with a wealth of expertise in enriching the lives of seniors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from Cleveland State University. Anne is certified by various organizations, including NCCAP (National Certification Council of Activity Professionals) as an ADC (Activity Director Certified), and by NCCDP (National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners) as a CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner), CADDCT (Certified Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia Care Trainer), and CDCM (Certified Dementia Care Manager). She is also a Virtual Dementia Tour Facilitator certified by Virtual Dementia Tour Second Wind Dreams.

Anne’s career journey began as an Activity Assistant Intern at an Assisted Living facility while earning her Gerontology Certificate. She subsequently served as a full-time Activity Assistant at a Skilled Nursing and Short Term Rehab Community before advancing to become an Activity Director ADPC (Activity Director Provisionally Certified) at a Skilled Nursing facility with Memory Care and Short Term Rehab. Her roles eventually led her to Light of Hearts Villa (LOHV), where she has held various positions, including Director of Life Enrichment and Volunteer Coordinator, and currently serves as Director of Life Enrichment and Memory Care, overseeing volunteer programs, central supplies, employee recognition and appreciation, staff engagement, and education initiatives.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Anne has a deep love for music, art, and DIY projects. She enjoys traveling to warm destinations or historical locations to satisfy her curiosity and love for learning. Anne also cherishes moments spent with her dog and values quality time with friends and family. She finds joy in going on adventurous outings with her nieces and nephew, embracing the excitement of exploration and discovery outside of work.
