As we enter this beautiful season of reflection and celebration, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Thank you to everyone who supported us during #weGiveCatholic—your generosity continues to uplift and sustain our mission.
As we enter this season of gratitude, we’re reflecting on the wonderful moments we’ve shared recently here at Light of Hearts Villa. From our first-ever Trick-or-Treat at the Villa, which welcomed more than 250 friends and neighbors for a night of laughter and community spirit, to our sold-out Handbag Bingo Brunch that raised over $25,000 for our residents – our hearts are truly full.
As the crisp autumn air arrives, we are reminded of the beauty of change and the excitement of what’s ahead here at Light of Hearts Villa. This season is filled with opportunities to gather, celebrate, and prepare for one of our most important fundraising campaigns of the year.
As summer begins to wind down, we are filled with gratitude for the joy and connection this season has brought to our community. At Light of Hearts Villa, every day is an opportunity to celebrate the love, care, and laughter that make this place feel like home.

We are thrilled to share exciting news with our community — Light of Hearts Villa has officially received a deficiency-free rating on our 2025 Annual State Survey conducted by the Ohio Department of Health!

At Light of Hearts Villa in Bedford, Ohio, our mission is to provide compassionate, faith-based care to seniors, ensuring they live with dignity and grace. A significant aspect of fulfilling this mission involves navigating the complexities of Medicaid, a program that serves as a lifeline for many of our residents.

Sister Regina Kusnir, SC, has lived a life of extraordinary charity and has been an integral part of Light of Hearts Villa. She helped coordinate the transition of Lumen Cordium High School into an assisted living facility in 1989. Since 2005, she has served as the director of pastoral and special ministries, where she helps address the spiritual life of residents.
