Spring has officially arrived, and with it comes the promise of warmer days, fresh blossoms, and renewed energy all around us. Here at Light of Hearts Villa, we are beginning to see the first signs of nature awakening—our front gardens are coming to life, and we’re eagerly anticipating the stunning pink blooms that soon will adorn our trees.
The arrival of March fills our hearts with joy! With warmer weather on the docket this week, we are feeling energized and excited for the arrival of spring and, of course, the Lenten season we are in.
As we step into February, we’re filled with gratitude for the health and well-being of our residents and staff—our community has remained free of COVID cases, and we continue to prioritize a safe and joyful environment for all.

December at the Villa is always a special time, as we embrace the holiday spirit with festive Christmas parties and cheerful decorations that fill the halls and common areas. The warmth and joy these traditions bring are felt throughout our community, creating a truly uplifting atmosphere that resonates with both our residents and staff.
On Saturday, April 19 at 2 PM, families and friends are invited to bring their little ones for an Easter Egg Hunt across the Villa grounds.
Sister Regina Kusnir, SC, has lived a life of extraordinary charity and has been an integral part of Light of Hearts Villa. She helped coordinate the transition of Lumen Cordium High School into an assisted living facility in 1989. Since 2005, she has served as the director of pastoral and special ministries, where she helps address the spiritual life of residents.
