Senior Residential Facility in Bedford, Ohio

COMMUNITY Updates

January 27, 2026

Dear Friends and Family of Light of Hearts Villa,

I hope you’re staying warm during this stretch of wild winter weather! Even with the heavy snow, our incredible and dedicated staff never missed a beat. Their commitment to showing up, no matter the conditions, to care for our residents is something we are deeply grateful for.

I’m also pleased to share that, after experiencing a handful of COVID cases toward the end of November and December, we’ve had no flu or COVID-19 cases so far in 2026. Thank you to everyone… residents, families, staff, and visitors for doing your part to keep our community safe and healthy.

Around the building, you’ll notice some ongoing enhancements. We’ve begun painting the main stairwell walls in the center of the building and have fully removed the wallpaper in that area. We anticipate completing the ground-floor painting soon, followed by updated flooring to match the rest of the building. We appreciate your patience as we continue these improvements to make the Villa even more beautiful and welcoming.

This year also marks a very special milestone… the 175th anniversary of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine. Throughout 2026, we’ll be celebrating their remarkable legacy with special events and stories. Stay tuned for updates, and be sure to follow along on our social media channels as well as the CSA Facebook page for announcements and behind-the-scenes highlights.

We are also finalizing our outreach event plans for the year with some exciting opportunities ahead to bring families, friends, and the wider Bedford community together. More details will be coming soon!

Thank you for being such a wonderful part of the Light of Hearts Villa family. Stay warm, stay safe, and as always, thank you for your continued support.

With thanks and love,

Breanne Cavileer, LNHA, CDP
