COMMUNITY Updates

January 7, 2025

Dear Friends and Family of Light of Hearts Villa,

Wishing you a Happy New Year! We hope that you had a wonderful holiday season, filled with peace, joy, and quality time spent with your loved ones. December at the Villa is always a special time, as we embrace the holiday spirit with festive Christmas parties and cheerful decorations that fill the halls and common areas. The warmth and joy these traditions bring are felt throughout our community, creating a truly uplifting atmosphere that resonates with both our residents and staff.

As we step into 2025, there is a profound sense of optimism and hope at Light of Hearts Villa. This year, we are excited to embark on a strategic planning process that will help shape the future of our community. Our goal is to continue enhancing and expanding the services we offer to our residents, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and support.

Health and Safety Update
Throughout the month of December, we remained vigilant in maintaining the health and safety of our community. While there was a noticeable spike in Covid-19 cases in November, we are grateful to report that December was a month of good health, with no reported cases of Covid-19 among our residents or staff. This is a testament to the ongoing diligence of our team and the collective commitment of our residents and families to follow safety protocols. We will continue to monitor the situation closely as we move through winter and adjust our approach as necessary to keep everyone safe.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on the past year and look forward to 2025, we are filled with excitement for the opportunities ahead. The strategic planning process will be a key focus, as it allows us to explore new ways to improve services, introduce innovative ideas, and enhance the living experience for all who call Light of Hearts Villa home. We are deeply grateful for the continued support of our community and look forward to working together to make this a year of growth, progress, and renewed purpose.
Closing Thoughts

If you made a donation to Light of Hearts Villa in 2024, please watch for the arrival of your annual giving statement by the end of this month, which will be sent out for tax and receipt purposes. In addition, we are pleased to announce that our 2024 Impact Report will be sent to all donors in February. This report will highlight the incredible impact your generosity has made throughout the year, and we hope you’ll find inspiration in the stories it tells. Copies of the report will also be available at the Villa and digitally on our website.

Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of our community. We look forward to a beautiful and prosperous 2025, filled with meaningful moments and shared experiences.

With thanks and love,
