The arrival of March fills our hearts with joy! With warmer weather on the docket this week, we are feeling energized and excited for the arrival of spring and, of course, the Lenten season we are in.

Miguel Chavez, the Sr. Vice President of Mission and Ministry with the Sisters of Charity Health System, recently shared a beautiful reflection on Lent that deeply resonated with many of us.

Lent is a time to turn our hearts toward God, seeking renewal, reconciliation, and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. It is a season of reflection, prayer, and acts of kindness as we prepare for the joy of Easter. The ashes we receive on Ash Wednesday remind us of our humility and our hope in the promise of new life through Christ. As we journey through this sacred season, we encourage all to embrace the spirit of giving, love, and renewal in their daily lives.

We also invite you to join us for a special Easter celebration! On Saturday, April 19 at 2 PM, we will host a family Easter Egg Hunt here at Light of Hearts Villa. We encourage all family members and friends to bring their little ones for an afternoon of fun, faith, and connection. There will be an egg hunt, arts & crafts celebrating Jesus’ resurrection, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and more! In addition, we will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Karaoke here at the Villa on Monday, March 17 at 1:30 PM. Families and friends are welcome to join their loved ones for this festive event!
