Senior Residential Facility in Bedford, Ohio

COMMUNITY Updates

NOVEMBER 15, 2023

Dear Friends and Family of Light of Hearts Villa,
Following our most recent update sent on Monday, November 13, we are now up to a total of 17 Covid cases among residents and 3 among staff members. Notably, none of these cases are within our Lumen Lane Memory Care neighborhood. Because of this, residents in Lumen Lane do not have to isolate in their rooms, but they are required to confine their activities to Lumen Lane, prohibiting visits to the chapel or activity center.
On the assisted living side, the isolation period is being extended until Monday. At that point, residents will undergo retesting, and subsequent steps will be determined based on the results. Families may still visit, acknowledging the associated risks; however, continuous mask-wearing remains mandatory within the facility. Our residents can still access live streams of Activities and Mass through our dedicated channel, and meal deliveries are, of course, continuing seamlessly. We understand that being confined to one’s room is far from ideal and poses its challenges, but we are diligently taking measures to expedite the containment of the spread as much as possible.
Regarding the upcoming flea market scheduled for this weekend, it will proceed as planned with the condition that all attendees must wear masks. We sincerely appreciate your understanding during these challenging times and kindly request your prayers.
With gratitude and care,

Breanne Cavileer, LNHA, CDP
Executive Director
