– Christine Cowan, family member of a resident
My grandmother was a resident for several years and the environment, the staff and the administration did everything possible to make it a home. There was so much kindness from all.

My Mother had early Alzheimer’s and was a resident of Lumen Lane. Living there brightened her last three years of life. Her apartment was attractive, always clean. All of the staff were extremely patient, kind , friendly and attentive to all of the residents. She considered many to be her friends. She spoke highly of Sister Regina, the aides, Dr. Samy, nurses, the women who did her laundry, cleaned, and Joanie who did her hair. She was much more social and enjoyed more activities than she had in the years living in her home. I enjoyed vising her there because it was such a pleasant cheerful setting. I never worried about my Mom because I knew she was safe, cared for and happy. I am grateful for Light of Hearts Villa. The last years of my mom’s life were happy because of it.
You will feel the love and peace when you enter the Villa. The staff has always been and continues to be caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient. It is truly like being in a family!
I came to the Villa for rehab after a stay in the hospital; that was twelve years ago. Friendly atmosphere, good meals, clean facility and helpful staff are some of the things that led me to stay. I particularly appreciate having a beautiful chapel with daily services, including Catholic Mass and rosary. The beautiful landscaped patio and waterfall provides a place to enjoy the outdoors.
“We cannot say enough about the kind, compassionate care that family member receives while living at Light of Hearts Villa. The staff and administration gave 110% of themselves to make sure that their residents are safe, healthy and happy.
