$114,060 Raised for the Sister Helen T. Scasny, SC Benevolent Fund
We are thrilled to share the incredible results of this year’s #weGiveCatholic campaign! Thanks to the support of our amazing community, we raised $114,060 for the Sister Helen T. Scasny, SC Benevolent Fund. This total includes:
- $61,060 in generous donations
- A $50,000 matching gift from Mary Ann Kaminski
- $3,000 in prizes from the Catholic Community Foundation
This achievement is a testament to the strength and kindness of the Light of Hearts Villa family. Whether you contributed financially, shared your prayers, or simply showed your support, your involvement makes a real difference in the lives of our residents.
As we celebrate this success, we’re reminded of the lasting impact we can make when we come together in support of those in need. On Saturday, April 19 at 2 PM, families and friends are invited to bring their little ones for an Easter Egg Hunt across the Villa grounds.

Sister Regina Kusnir Chapel of Light: A Legacy of Faith and Compassion
Sister Regina Kusnir, SC, has lived a life of extraordinary charity and has been an integral part of Light of Hearts Villa. She helped coordinate the transition of Lumen Cordium High School into an assisted living facility in 1989. Since 2005, she has served as the director of pastoral and special ministries, where she helps address the spiritual life of residents.
