Senior Residential Facility in Bedford, Ohio

COMMUNITY Updates

July 8, 2025

Dear Friends and Family of Light of Hearts Villa,

As the warmth of summer surrounds us, so does the spirit of community here at the Villa. From vibrant flowers in full bloom to the joyful energy in our halls, we’re reminded daily of the beauty that comes from being together in this special place.

This summer, we are actively welcoming new residents into both our assisted living and memory care communities—and we still have openings available! If you or someone you know is looking for a safe, faith-filled, and compassionate home, we encourage you to reach out. There is truly something about the Villa that feels just right the moment you step inside. We’d love the opportunity to show you around and share what makes this place so unique.

General Updates

In preparation for the future and in our ongoing commitment to providing the highest level of care, we are also engaging our team in virtual dementia training sessions this week. These trainings are part of our continued efforts to ensure every resident receives care rooted in understanding, dignity, and excellence.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to be planning a fun and welcoming Open House event in August—stay tuned for details! It will be a wonderful opportunity to visit, meet our team and residents, and see what life at Light of Hearts Villa is all about.

Behind the scenes, we’re also hard at work preparing for this year’s #weGiveCatholic campaign. With ongoing Medicaid challenges continuing to impact senior care across Ohio, this campaign has never been more important. Thanks to the generosity of the Kaminski Family, every dollar raised—up to $100,000—will be matched, doubling the impact of your gift! We invite you to save the date for Tuesday, December 2, and prayerfully consider making a pledge this fall to help us reach our biggest goal yet.

Without the gala this year, this campaign is essential to sustaining our mission and ensuring no resident is ever turned away due to financial hardship. Your early support and encouragement mean so much.

As always, thank you for being such a vital part of the Light of Hearts Villa family. Your care, prayers, and advocacy make a lasting difference.

With thanks and love,

Breanne Cavileer, LNHA, CDP
Executive Director
